Saw some guessing in other posts, but what exactly does it mean in the guide.

I'm restarting this thread becuase yesterday I updated my H3, & J3, & the out of sync problem disappeared. I don't know if dish fixed something (doubtful), or buy running the update somehow repairing it. If that's the case, & the problem returns, what can I do in settings/tools to update...

This started on my wired J3 a few months ago (H3 seems fine), never had a problem before that. I saw some info here, to turn "volume leveling" off, & maybe "dolby audio", which did help, but not entirely. Any other tips to help this problem? Maybe the splitter at cable box? Thanks,

H3, I'm not going to worry about it, I was just curious that happened, if needed I'll just buy a better one, I think the case is goofy. Sorry I didn't give better details in the original post.

I change because I liked the other better for my computer, it had no problem, & did put it back, & it's working as before. Now that I think of it, I had a heck of a time getting my computer recognizing a new ssd in the problem case. After screwing around in disk management, it worked...

I changed the hdd enclosure, & when I turned it on, & saw a message to format the hdd, of course I reversed what I did. Does that mean if the enclosure needs to replaced, all recordings are lost ?

I use an OTA adapter as well. If I saw this, I would try this: Log on to MyDish. Go to My Programming. Click Change Programming. Add Local Channels ($12.00). Submit. Wait a few minutes. Go see if the Dish-provided spot beam channels have now appeared in the guide. See if those have program...

Replaced the adapter, still only guide working is FOX.

Rescan brought back one, rescanned again, & lost it, Fox stays.
