Got an email yesterday saying my box would reset and I would have it (NYC Area)....nothing as of 2am last night. We'll see what happens when I get home tonight.

I finally got a call back from Verizon a week after opening up a ticket. Apparently they are using an old database (which should be upgraded by the end of the month) and because i ported over my number when switching, it is not a "Verizon number" yet. I guess I need to wait until the end...

In the past year I've had Cable, E, and FIOS. FIOS is by far the best option in my area. Best picture quality and the multi-room dvr is by far the best (besides the TIVO i had about 5 years ago)

I keep getting calls from Cablevision trying to get me to switch back and leave verizon. They are offering to buy me out of the contract with Verizon, the triple play, gold package (all the premiums), and dvr for $125 locked in for 2 years. Does anyone have experience trying to leave...

I recently placed and order for FIOS and when I called Cablevision to set up a disconnect they kept giving me reasons not to switch, but of course would not lower the price to where it would be better than the FIOS deal. They told me my electric bill will go up 20%, which I find very hard...

check out macmall.com after rebate they have some decent discounts especially if you dont mind getting the previous generation models

Im having the same problem....i spoke to a CSR and they said I have a negative signal coming into my house....there is a tech coming tomorrow morning to fix the signal.
