So this app seems really sketchy at best right now. I think I'll stick with Dish until DTV gets their stuff figured out.

So I'm used to using the DishAnywhere app and picture quality is outstanding. I use it a lot when traveling.

So my buddy in Pensacola just tried it. He can't get any local channels on the app or standard networks. Only what he calls "cable" channels.

And by watch I mean watch live not something stored on DVR.

Before posting here I talked to a friend of mine who still had DTV. He said he wasn't able to watch local channels on the app. Is there anything you can't watch on the app?

Have you tried it? When I had DTV before, it was only a limited number of channels. Have you tried watching your locals, espn, cnn, etc on the app?

Does DirecTV have an answer yet to the DishAnywhere app that lets you watch any channel live on any device no matter where you are?

You are missing my point as a customer of Dish. My guide says the channel has been removed. My contract is with Dish. I pay for service from Dish and NOT Raycom. Dish sold me services stating I would get my local channels. That is now factually incorrect. There was no stipulation that said...

How long have you worked for Dish? Given I'm a customer of Dish, in my eyes it is a Dish problem and not Raycom. Dish is willing to interrupt programming that I'm paying for.

I am in the Huntsville market. My family is pissed and wants me to go back to Directv. I bought an antenna today so at least we can watch the Olympics.

I don't understand how this is acceptable to anyone. I've now been with Dish for about 16 months after leaving Directv for 21 years. I don't recall this happening at DTV but it could have. Apparently there is no end in sight to the Tribune dispute which means no football games etc here...

It's very difficult for me to disagree with your statements. Sports Bar Mode worked Thursday but isn't today (Sunday). Went into it, and the box took a crap. Lost all the timers the other day without a reason why. Wife is pissed at me for upgrading. Never know if everything is going to work...

I tried this last night and it worked on the TV connected to my H3 but not my Joey.

I don't mean to sound flippant, but how is that an acceptable answer? Why did it happen in the first place? Yes no timers were there.
