Mine doesn't do that. Are you cutting the power to it (unplugging or turning of power strip or something), or just turning it off with the remote?

After using the red button last night to pause one show, then switch tuners to another show the Joey would pixelate and the the picture would be jumpy. At first I thought it was bad signal, but after rewinding it would play fine for a bit then start to do it again.

When mine was installed, the tech tried to use the Ethernet over power line, but couldn't get that to work. He installed the USB wireless, and we were able to get it to connect to my network. Did the network tests and it is connecting fine.

OK, did a factory reset. We got the 833 screen (which we didn't before), now it sped through the 015 screen! Thanks guys.

The tech is afraid if we do a factory restore it will go through this process again and lose the time we already have been waiting to acquire the signal. Should I talk him into doing a factory restore?

About how long does it take the hopper to acquire the signal? My installer came today. He checked the signal coming into the Hopper, getting good signal. We have been stuck on acquiring satellite signal for about 30 minutes now. It says progress 5 of 5.

In another thread, isaacmorseMI posted a photo of a Hopper/Joey activation and setup page. It states that mirroring a Joey will result in a trouble call. It states they are supposed to right-size the customer to an additional Joey or Hopper. It is in the joey has no internet thread, wont let...

I hope so, $300 to upgrade to 1H/1J is ridiculous...
