The only thing to add, an H20 receiver does not work with a Single Wire Multiswitch Dish and it does need the bbc converter to work.

THOSE BIG ANTENNAS yea thos big antennas are very directional. You should get up on the roof and try to move it manually for now so you can watch your game.

WELL If your slimline is a Single Wire type of dish then it won't work. If there's 4 available coax connections from the lnb it will be possible. What type of slimline do you have?

WELL Well if you don't want to upgrade the receiver and don't want to pay as much you should just find a owned receiver on ebay. I've done that before, you can still find D10's on there that are owned or other receivers. Just make sure you ask for the receiver Id number and verify with Directv...

I REVIVED MINE Well mine went haywire one time, black and white and the picture moving up and down the screen. I could see that there was still a menu and stuff but couldn't read it since it moved up and down real fast. I grabbed my other traxis 3500 and tried the copy feature with the rs cable...

TIME FOR....... I guess it's probably time to replace it, it drove me crazy when mine had to be reset 2-3 times a week. Got old after a while when sometimes it happened when I was browsing the guide.

WHICH? which DRD model are you having issues with? I used to have a 430rg some time last year that drove me crazy and had to reset it all the time cause it would lose channels every now and then, Resetting it fixed the issue for a while then had to redo it again and again as time went by. I...

I SUGGEST I would suggest to try it again, no reason why it would reset due to not having a coax from the dish hooked up. Make sure you select the right dish on the setup and try again.

I BELIEVE I believe you can use the receiver after you let it boot up as long as the power doesn't go out or gets rebooted. Don't quote me on it but you should disconnect the coax from the other receiver and let it boot up the guide and then disconnect it after you scan for the ota channels...

FOR DIRECTV If you want to get the directv signal it has to be on the 101 satellite, and I'm not sure if that dish network lnb will work for directv. Anyone out there know if you can use the dish network lnb for directv?

YOU CAN.... You can try watching the videos on you tube where they install directv dishes. Not sure what dish you have but you can look there. I've moved my dish before, not too hard. Usually you want to find the 101 (sat) signal first.

IN ADDITION In addition to the previous posts just know that the different sats have different elevations, so you need to adjust the elevation on your dish depending on which one you're aiming it to.

lnb type? are you using a dish network lnb or is it a standard or universal ku lnb? the dish network lnb's won't work for some of the other sats. Again what lnb are you using?

2 MONTHS, DO..... Since you said you're new and only have had it for 2 months which is approximately 60 days, you have 90 day warranty on your install. Call them and let them know and it should be covered by that warranty
