Have you tried slaving your fta receiver to your analog receiver? I am not sure if your fta receiver has the ability to switch polarity. -fernando

Go down to your local hardware store and get a copper grounding rod and some grounding wire. Drive this into the ground reasonably close to your dish and connect the grounding wire between the dish and the rod. This takes care of the dish, for the cable(s), you can get a grounding connector...

I have been using a middle of the road quality Ku lnb for a number of years with good results. It is an Astrotel universal, I think I paid about $50 for it. Dish alignment is generally more critical for Ku, but once you have your dish properly set up, you should have no trouble. bud1981
