Just for kicks, let do a little math... If the average person watches 2 hours of TV per day thats 730 hours per year. Lets say $65 for 300 channels + 1 movie channel = $780 per year for cable. The average movie at a theater cost 8 bucks and is 2 hours long. This comes out to $4 per hour...

I see you used an Atlanta, GA server for one of your tests. You might want to use speedtest.cfl.rr.com in addition to your personal favorite. This will rule out any bad servers outside Brighthouse's backbone network. I'm not saying this is your problem. But just so you know.

In case anyone's interested.. TimeWarner's backbone went down and remaining traffic for Central Florida and East Coast Florida was re-routed to Level3 severs. TimeWarner was also down. Not just Brighthouse.

Maybe you can just delete every program on the list then unplug the box and plug it back in. If the problem stops then you can re-build your recording list.

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand. Are you having trouble deleting programs? Is the problem program showing or not showing on the list? Because if every channel is set to record, then it seem that deleting the problem program would be the solution. Can you give us a more detailed...
