    97W and 125W using 2 dishes

Multi feed LNB holder Does anyone use a multi-feed LNB holder to get multiple satellites on a single dish? How feasible would it be to use such a thing on a 36" dish to get 97W and 125W? How does this method compare to using 2 dishes?

    97W and 125W using 2 dishes

What satellites do you pick up with 3 LNBs on the same dish? What size dish? What bracket?

Glorystar Package- Is it worth it?

So I am considering purchasing the Glorystar 1 room package - dish, HD receiver, LNB. I read the review in the link below but generally speaking, is the system worth $199 or am I better off buying a different dish and receiver elsewhere? Overall, the price seems decent and I don't think I would...

    97W and 125W using 2 dishes

    The dish measures 20 3/4" H x 35 3/4" W. I was mistaken as I don't think it is a primestar dish. It is a Dish Network SuperDISH.

    97W and 125W using 2 dishes

For a few years, I have been using an old primestar superdish to receive FTA channels on 97W with a SV-360 elite receiver. Well the receiver died about 6 months ago and I have been dragging my feet on upgrading but am ready to upgrade at this point. I am considering getting the package deal from...

    satellite signal polarity

Actually I don't have anything yet. I am trying to learn as much possible so that I purchase the right equipment. My goal is to get a FTA dish, maybe 31". The primary use is for one-way satellite internet on AMC6 sat. But I was hoping to be able to get a special bracket and mount a 2nd LNBF to...

    satellite signal polarity

Thanks for the help. I guess I have a lot to learn. I understand that there is circular and linear polarity when it comes to signals? I did find the following website that states "Digital signals are transmitted from the satellites on either Vertical (V) or Horizontal (H) polarity for linear...

    satellite signal polarity

This may be a stupid question, but I am new to satellite. I was wondering, when I look at the lyngsat website, how can I tell what polarity a Ku beam is on a given satellite? Thank you.

One way satellite internet with SkyAngel

Hello everyone, I am brand new to satellite and have been reading all about it for the last three weeks. I am considering a subscription to a one-way satellite internet service named skyfx on AMC6, 72 degrees. To do this I plan on purchasing a DVB-S pci card (skystar2) along with a 31" FTA...
