I was wondering if you need the VOD kit from Direct for VOD capabilities. I know you can do things like change programming and order PPV online, however could you order VOD online and have it download to the TV?

We're having major issues finding the correct a signal with our dish. We are looking at the signal strength screen on an HR23 and both tuners indicate the signal is 'Not Acquired', and all transponders on all sats read zero. Is this normal, or should there be some sort of signal of around 10...

Thanks for the info on the Slingbox. Might have a problem though... we only have one TV at home that the wife and kid are watching. I'm sure that I can't use the Slingbox to tune to any channel I want while they are watching. I don't fully understand why it would be illegal in Canada...
