    Pixelation, Audio Problems, and Max Signal (Dish 500)

    I had a recent problem with this. All my receivers would pixelate, lost signal, audio problems but signal was great. Turned out to be my LNBF. I replaced it through DISH and no problem since.

    Head Unit Question

    Not sure... On all my kenwood head units, on the remote I have a button called direct (or select), and it allows me to enter the station number directly. As for the artist/album/song information, I don't know enough about the clarion to tell you..

    811 Receiver blank screen problem

    I have had this problem before, as well. A few days agao it started and happened twice within a couple days. Dish told me to reset the receiver. Haven't had it since those two episodes.. But, one time we got OTA and the other time we didn't... strange.

    you could always try something like the Kenwood KVT-815DVD, but it might be a bit out of reach. I am getting mine installed today, but it's not a cheap investment.
