    I would love to find one of those. I grew up in a small town, and they were everywhere 15-20 years ago! The local DirecTV contractor had a pile of them when they converted them all over. The only one I’ve seen lately is on top of a 2-story house!

    Best signal strength?

    I was wondering what a good signal strength was. I use an old 76cm Winegard dish with PowerSat LNB I found next to a dumpster! It was getting 84/87. I bought a Maverick MK1-PLL LNB, and it went up to 87/91. There has to be very heavy rain in the SW sky to knock it out. I’m in TN, BTW.

    I Found The OTA Signal Meter!

    My Orby went out the other day. (Turned out to be a bad LNB.) I had it tuned to a local channel, and happened to check Tuner 3 on my DVR. It shows OTA signal strength now. It only shows the OTA channel you’re tuned to, but it works.
