Does anyone have actual experience with the Channel Master Pro-Model UHF/VHF TV Antenna? Modular design that you can add to in order to increase gain. $50 for the UHF piece and $50 for the VHF. I’m wondering if it’s worth the money.

I spotted a little disclaimer somewhere on the site. They will contact you with the actual shipping cost. Probably depends on distance. I think they box it to withstand the freight company’s handling. I seem to remember the shipping and box fee was the same for one or to dishes meals ago.

$800 bucks plus $120 shipping? Crazy. You can buy the dish from satelliteav for $250 and shipping probably adds another $250-$300. I was lucky when I lived in California and was able to stop by their shop and just buy the dish, which was about 1/2 the price back then.

Thanks for the input. I currently have a temporary 10 foot fixed dish with the metal pipe but with the dish and mount covering the pole, I can’t measure the thickness of the wall. I’m guessing it is “80”.

As long as we're on the subject of poles, I acquired an Ajax H-H mount I have to clean up but it needs a 3 1/2" O.D. pole. Do I need schedule 80 or will a schedule 40 work? edit: Oh, it's for a 10 foot mesh dish in case you didn't guess.

As a33 says, the top should not be bent and declination adjustment could be on the top or bottom. My dish mount is similar to yours with the adjustment on the bottom.
