the only way I haev found to resolve the problem is to hold the power button on the unit for ~5 seconds and wait for it to come back up.

I just sent my request to Dish for a lease on the 942. My 508 hard drive is about to die (I'm getting sudden jumps in time on playback), and having two receivers (508, 6000) is confusing for my family. Any my HD reception on the 6000 antenna is not very good. I'm hoping the tuner in the 942...
