    What should I offer?

thanks have not seen it yet. thanks for ur input. I am leaning toward going new anyway now that i have slept on it. 100 or so in savings is not worth the potential hassles. would be different if it was up and I could verify operation.

    Which Commercial receiver

I am in process of getting a church setup to receive content that is DCII encoded. My question is regarding which receiver to choose. If the dollars are basically the same, which is the better choice? A DSR 4402x, 4500x, or 4520x. These are the choices I am limited to... Thanks!!

Thanks If the programming provider gives the go ahead I will ask the satellite folks if other boxes will work or are acceptable. On their website under technical info it states: Feedtype: Digichipher II Receivers (any of the following): DSR 4402X, 4410, 4500X, 4520X, 4400MD or MPS (no IRTs)

    DSR 4500x

I am in a discussion with a provider that is currently scrambled using DigicipherII and one of the recommended receivers is the Motorola DSR 4500x. It is a long story regarding a setup for a Church and they are considering authorizing the reception even though it is not for a cable provider. My...

    MultiStar Model R75PN offset angle

Does anyone know the offset angle for this dish? I picked a dish up for 15.00 but can't find info on it... Rather than dink with moving it up and down to find the elevation I want to be a bit more deliberate and use an angle meter and make sure elev is correct and then make small east west...

Is it easy to blow LNB?

Yes the receiver was off when disconnecting. I have seen many warnings about that on here so I was worried that perhaps the connection problem I had with my jumper caused some damage. I have a coolsat 5000 and the signal strength dropped way off a couple of times as I was attempting to aim. I am...

Is it easy to blow LNB?

Thx... I moved it back to the roof mount pole where it was. LOS is clear. I just wanted to make sure I was not fighting a bad LNB. The coax I was using to align it at the new position had a connection issue. It was intermittant. I was worried the make/break that happened two times wacked the...

    GodTV on Galaxy23 help

I sent an email to Olympusat asking about getting their "Faith and Family" package and was informed that they cater only to cable operators. They did forward my query to a guy at GOD TV and I have had an interesting back and forth with him. At one point he made this comment: "At some point we...
