I totally agree. Could you imagine what the repercussions would be to try and make people pay for equipment? The lawsuits for breach of contract would bankrupt them( and that's a perfectly legal thing for D* customers to do, after spending $1000 on a box).

The thing about the D* increase is, if you have recently committed to a year contract, you won't see an increase until your 1 year is up.
