The model 6000 has a 15 pin RGB output. If I connect that to a VGA input on a LCD computer monitor, will I get video? I am not worried about HD, but how good is the picture quaility of RGB output compared to s-vid or rca? thanks

the HD signal can't cant be decoded by a SD reciever. an SD reciever wont even reconize an HD signal. Dish is currently runing HD on 110 tran 13 & 17, bring up your signal strength on a SD reciver and look at those strengths... zero

Dish has a sc replacement department that csr's can transfer you to. If you tell a csr that you want to order MLB EI but say you cant cause you dont have a yellow card, he can transfer you to the sc replacement team and they will get you out a card. They arent going to lose out on a $160 package...

joann, when ya swap recievers and the problem stays in the same location, that means the reciever is fine. the problem is in the installation. could you tell me the type of reciever you have and I'll give you some info on where to go in the menu to give me more info
