There is a new update in the app store today. I deleted the old app, re-downloaded the app, and it appears to be working again. It is amazing to me that Dish puts out this much software that obviously wan’t tested.

Finally got my Hopper3 updated. So far nothing fixed that I can tell, but nothing broken either. Will monitor. No improvement in Joey3 problem where video skips forward after pausing. Was hoping that would be fixed.

Searched the forum but could not find anything about this. I am logged into dish anywhere, viewing the guide for sports. Click on a program at 3pm, click record, this episode only. Getting a message “failure to create timer”. Any advice on how to fix this remotely? thanks in advance

Hello, can you please clarify - is this setting on the Dish box or somewhere on the TV? I looked on the Joey 4K and found a setting for CeC on the Remote tab of the settings but it didn’t eliminate my error 890.

I haven’t had time to call yet but will in a week or so. Thanks for sharing your experience with this.

On mine the sound comes back after about 2 minutes of displaying the 890 error. But the error continues to be displayed continuously with no picture after 10 minutes when I give up. I tried the “channel up” and back trick too.
