    Can I do 110 119 on a 500 and then a single at 77?

We have a camp that has had a 500 setup at it for years looking at 110 and 119. We just bought a VIP211 for HD at the camp. Since the Harrisburg Pa locals are on 77 I was wondering if I could get a single LNB dish and point it at 77. I have a DP Plus LNB that would allow me to connect the...

EZ Way to Add an a 2nd HD TV to a 622?

I'm doing this now (minus OTA because I can't get any signals). My 622 is in the bedroom. I ran a 75' HDMI cable to my 32" LCD in the family room thus always making it TV1. In the bedroom, I have the component cable connected to a 26" LCD. I also have the composite video connected to this...

Question about existing customer and HD locals on 77W

You know, I understand your situation, but how much more local do you want? Especially when you live within an hour of DC, Philly, etc. Why aren't one of those your locals? Do you not qualify for any of them and get none? The nearest local station for me is OVER an hour away. :)

Question about existing customer and HD locals on 77W

I have had enough patience. If it wouldn't be for me receiving the Wash DC locals becaused I "moved", I would have ran out of patience a long time ago. Does anybody have a time frame when these channels will go live? Thanks for the responses.

Question about existing customer and HD locals on 77W

I have searched and read through countless threads and I can't find a definative answer so sorry if this question(s) has been asked before: Currently I have AT250 /HD Plat. 2 622's, DP+ 500 @ 110/119, and a 300 @ 61.5. Reading the uplink reports, it appears that my HD locals are going to be...

    hdtv #2?

My setup: I have the HDMI output (TV1) running to the TV in the master bedroom. It's was easier to run HDMI to the bedroom (1 cable) instead of 5 cables needed for component. This was a 50ft cable BTW. The component for TV1 runs to the TV in the living room. Both TV's are getting HD...

    622 vs 722

I had both of mine replaced for the HDMI problem and didn't pay for shipping on either one. I even got a free HDMI cable out of it somehow.

Can I get max for a penny?

    1. It includes them all. 2. I haven't seen it online at all (except on this forum and a couple of other forums). I looked on DN's site and didn't see it. 3. I was already doing both, did an online chat with a CSR and it was done and activated in 3 mins.

    Annual CineMax For $0.01/Yr Revisited

I had the exact same experience, except mine lasted maybe two minutes. It was by far the easiest thing I ever had done with a CSR.

    HDMI connection issues

Sounds to me like the HDMI input connector on the back of the 622. I had to have both of mine replaced because of this issue. It's a well documented problem with the 622. The next time you get green screen, try wiggling the cable where it plugs into the dvr.

Is it over for the DISH DVR?

Agreed. He's reaching. Like lawyers know anything about programming code. Even if "his" engineers say it can't be done is laughable.

How do you guys move then.....

No way you can do the upgrade without having them install it. The system will not let them do it. I tried, many times for the same upgrade. You'll have to move back to your billing address, get the upgrade, then move back. Believe me, it's a hassle, but that's one of the prices you pay...

    "Moved" without success

I don't get why "moving" pisses anybody off other than "movers" coming in and complaining about the service call issues after moving. It has no affect on the non-movers at all. If your gonna "move", just be prepared for the some of the hassels that come with it. I've moved to get local HD...
