Wont using diplexers work. We use diplexers all the time here to bring in satellite and cable for the customer as long as it's not a dual tuner receiver. Backfeeding a dual tuner receiver uses the same frequencies as cable - so it won't work, its at this time you need two cables.

Short Answer... YES .... coax is normally running inside of outside house walls filled with insulation and through attics... and sometimes when it runs up the walls and makes that bend into the attic its near impossible to put another line there and if you want somebody to run you new lines...

Your Kidding.. Right? I think remotes have a warranty of 30 days... call 1-800-333-3474 (Dish Network) and order a new one or get one from your local retailer. Depending on what type remote you need will dictate how much it will cost... give them a call and they'll let you know...

I once had a satellite installer that would remove your electrical cover and ground to the house ground wire and then put the cover back on the electrial outlet... He actually put a grounding block right next to their electrial outlet...
