It's not a combo unit, it's a TV only.

It's a new remote that came with the new receiver.

I got my new SD DVR working, but when I try to enter the various codes to program the remote for my TV, it does not work. My TV is about a 10 year old crt Panasonic. Do they no longer have codes that support TVs that old? I tried every code they provided.

I called them back and they tried the mirroring and that fixed the problem. I can't believe the tech last night didn't try this and was going to charge me for a service call.

I went online and sent the reauthorization to the receiver and it did not help, but I want to make sure I did it correctly. Am I supposed to do the authorization after the setup/search for satellite signal? Or should I authorize it before starting the setup?
