I installed a dish1000.2 last summer and could not get 129 to come in. I thought my view of the sky was c lear of obstructions. 110 and 119 had great signals. Then the seasons changed and the leaves flell off the trees and I tried a check switch test and there it was,129 with a 30 + - signal...

I went and tried to start over. I covered the outside lnbs with tinfoil, set the skew at 90'and reset elevation and azimuth. I got a green lock on 119 of 104 on tp11. I then tried setting the skew and didnt get anything, then ran a checkswitch and 110 came up with a lock in green of 98. Still...

after the sun set I am getting a signal strength of 125 on 110 and 107 on 119. I have tried to changing the skew a little each way and a lot each way. My guideline says the skew should be 109, elevation 31 and azimuth 202.

Is the left or right lnb for 129?

I did indeed run the checkswitch. It shows the 129 position as conn. good connection, no signal. Also 119 and 110 are locked with green bar.

I just purchased a 1000.2 dish. I have a 311 reciever and a vip 211. I set my elevation and skew according to a pointing chart by zip code and I have fine tuned from there using my reciever and my wife. I get a lock of 105 on the 119 sat tp 11. I have a lock of 100 on the 110 sat tp 14...
