    Eastern arc vs Western arc

First tech should never bury the cable. Maybe figure out what you're talking about before insulting people that do this for a living.

Install the Chrome SlingPlayer Web Plug-in.

I had this exact issue the other day with the Slingplayer extension for Chrome. Ended up having to completely uninstall the extension, re-download and install it. Restart Chrome, and go into chrome://extensions and enable it. I have no idea why it did that, if it was an issue with Sling or...

    1000.2 Eastern Arc Help

A .2 will work for EA with a .2 EA LNBF. Unless he's picking up Latino programming OP wouldn't need a .4 EA.

    Super Joey Problem

Who's end? They're saying it's on Dish's end or your (the customers end)?

    Wiring questions

As far as ease of use, I've done the whole stripping cable manually, and this cable prep tool makes it quick, easy and you don't have to worry about cutting off too much of the jacket or anything. You can find connectors for a good price near anywhere. This is pretty much what you're looking...

    Clamp Mount Question

Actually, the on Dishman1978 posted is the one internal techs now use. A non-pen mount is the smaller flat roof mount. A patio mount is not the same, and is the one that Dishman posted.

    Wireless Joey Costs

Monthly is the same, WAP is $50 if you don't get it during the initial install. I don't believe anything else has been announced yet.

    Diplexing

It runs on initial setup. This sporadic working/not working thing is - I'm sure - part of the reason a duo node isn't supported. It makes sense that if the voltage is incorrect that people are seeing different things.

    Dish Service Coverage

Dish tech should come out and fix whatever needs done. If it comes to running a new cable and you want it fished through the wall/attic/crawlspace make sure to let him know, as he'll most likely try to do an outside run. Essentially no matter what the problem with the system is it will be fixed...

    Diplexing

According to DISH corporate, yes a Duo Node requires power from both Hoppers for the entire node to fully function. The SJ doesn't provide the same power output as a Hopper, so it will not function properly.

    It's approximate. 22,300 mi.

Why Connect Wifi To Tv Receiver?

They don't care. Different metrics for different parts of the company. For a tech, you must connect every Hopper job or it counts against you. If the customer doesn't have broadband, see if they have a hotspot. If they dont' have a hotspot search for open networks. The metric is something like...

Point Dish No Signal, How Much Do Trees Matter?

The picture resolution is awful, but it looks like it's set to 38 to me.

    Not picking up sat 72

Check channel 215 (just a random channel I know is on 72.7 and in the top 200). If you're getting that, then it's likely a very low signal or software error. I'd try running the check switch again.
