Yes, that's what strange - all other 4k on the Sony Bravia is fine from various Apps - even 4k VOD from Directv plays OK - it is just the dedicated 4k Directv channels that have the issue. So if there was a way to adjust the image on those Directv channels I think that would work.

Sorry to report that what I had thought fixed this 'white line' overscan issue did not. When I switched to HDMI 'Enhanced' it reset the Display on the Directv 4k genie lowering resolution to 1080 (which does not show the lines). As soon as I enable 4k on the Directv display menu the line...

Thanks for the replies - for anybody researching this issue in the future, I called Sony today and they were able to resolve the issue by resetting my HDMI input setting to 'enhanced'. Line gone!
