    Question about Receivers

If you call up directv they cannot garuntee what brand of receiver you are going to get. if you want a hughes receiver, you might call some local retailers to see if they have any them. Otherwise look around online, might try ebay. but you're out of luck getting one from dtv.

    Which dish?

the 5 lnb dish will only be good for a year or so, then dtv will be coming with a 6 lnb dish that will see all of the sats, 95, 99, 101, 103, 110, 119. that's of course when all of our new sats our up and running supposedly by 2007.

    Which dish?

on the single lnb dish you will have 2 outputs, and you will need a 2x4 multi-switch. all of the TC+ programming comes from the 101 sat. only thing that would come from a different sat would be locals, hd, or international stuff.
