DISH's Hopper 3 DVR Now Supports Netflix in Ultra HD 4K

Yes you can, or at least you could. Many older 4K TVs are not compatible due to lack of HDCP 2.2. Also the box crashes on any TV without HDCP 2.2 which is almost all non 4K TVs as well. Clearly the box should not be demanding HDCP 2.2 when Netflix doesn't require it for non 4K, and it should...

DISH's Hopper 3 DVR Now Supports Netflix in Ultra HD 4K

But you have a compatible 4K TV. Their is no reason the box should be forcing HDCP 2.2 when we aren't watching in 4K. In have tried it on multiple TV, with multiple cables, all have the same issue. The very fact the hopper box is trying to force HDCP 2.2 on non 4K content means their is...

DISH's Hopper 3 DVR Now Supports Netflix in Ultra HD 4K

There seems to be a huge bug in Dish implementation of this update. For people who have a 4 stream package, if you don't have a compatible 4K TV, regardless if you are trying to watch 4K, the update causes the hopper box to crash whenever Netflix is launched.

Netflix broken in 309 on H3?

You should read what the OP said, he isn't trying to watch 4K. I am having the EXACT same problem. This has nothing to do with us trying to watch 4K, we aren't even selecting any video, the Hopper demands HDCP 2.2 when we launch Netflix and crashes the box immediately when it doesn't detect...

Is their no way to have two online logins for 1 account?

What do you mean it doesn't work? Comcast uses the Xfinity Go app, which has HBO Live and On Demand built in, which allows multiple accounts to be created and 3 simultaneous streams. It has 40 or 50 other channels that can viewed live too, such as ESPN, Showtime, Disney, Starz, CNN, and more...

Is their no way to have two online logins for 1 account?

Don't get me wrong I am happy with Dish still, but I miss how on Xfinity multiple people could watch live TV while mobile. I could watch HBO live at the gym, and at the same time someone else could watch ESPN live in a car, and a third person could watch Showtime live on their mobile device...

Is their no way to have two online logins for 1 account?

It not really just a TV login, it is the login for billing and everything. With it they can make programing and billing changes. If you have children in the household you don't want to give them unlimited access to our account. But you have to.

Is their no way to have two online logins for 1 account?

It seems so ridiculous that I have to give other people in my household the billing login and password in order for them to use HBO Go. With Xfinity, you could create as many logins as you wanted and each one could use it, their was no need to give out private billing information to everyone in...

    HOPPER 3 UPGRADES

It wasn't really free. I am still leasing the equipment. I am paying $160 when I can purchase the box outright for $280. If I do purchase the box, do I still pay the $15 month box fee?

    HOPPER 3 UPGRADES

Reading the thread the reason for the $150 is because I just got my Hopper w/Sling equipment yesterday.

    HOPPER 3 UPGRADES

Very annoyed I am being charged $160 upgrade fee. I have a high score too, so that wasn't the reason. The rep refused to waive the fee and even charged me a tech fee. Not happy.
