m well just remember that some 1080i TV's are native 720p that accept 1080i and down convert it. but still it would be better that the TV do all the work and no the 622. e..b

the 2 button idea is way cool.. hope they think of one thing that needs to be on it.. (it will add 2 or 3 more buttons) and thats the volume and mute. I dont want to look around a menu for a mute button or volume. other then that.. way cool!

I was wonding why they don't do that.. On my 622 when I output to the RG6 to my other TV it looks pretty good watching a HD show on a SD TV. just get the stretch right and it looks nice.. if we could mix some SD and HD, we could get more channels.

i think it does. i know then Svid and Yellow rca works fine, i use component and also the Svideo for my sling box.

If you ask me, you could consolidate all 15 Voom's into about 5 channels or so.. that would give some 10 others we can see.. then less Voom repeats. etc. etc. then we all will win.. and think about it.. with almost everyone getting DVR's now, if you want to watch a kungfu movie, you can...

well VC-1 is a nice idea.. maby VC-1 can be setup in the 622's software? or even a USB expansion card? no matter how i look at it.. a larger HD would be nice, but come on.. i want my 622 to allow me to offload some movies that i want to hold on to for later!! USB HD please come soon!!!

well.. let me ask you a question do you want to see the reciver.. you can always put it behind a cloth like a speaker grill , should let the IR get thu e..b or yea, i guess you could always use that tint like stuff on it.. see if that works

thats a good idea.. i think what he means is since most of these recivers have Ethernet why not "call home" over ethernet. voip is useless since i dont need a phone at home, i have a cell phone with more then enough minutes.
