I've been having the problem on the HD channels for a few weeks. A good tech came out and said I had good signal to the main junction, but was losing signal through the fiber run to my apartment. They are going to run a new line. Not sure what would be the cause for other people, though...

One positive thing I've noticed is that the skip forward and backward functions of the DVR are much quicker now. I agree that the magnified line in the middle is a complete distraction. The only way that's helpful is if you go line-by-line in the guide instead of page-by-page, but who does that?

I got the new guide last night and have noticed the same things. The major annoyance is the I can't remove unwanted channels from the guide. Sure, I can add a list of favorite channels, but it won't display all of them in the guide. How could they not have known that I would want to remove...

Can't comment on BHN, but my 5Mb Internet FiOS in MD is $20 a month cheaper than my 4Mb Comcast. TV is cheaper as well. Combine that with the fact that Comcast is about the most hated company of any sort in my area and the choice is obvious.

Right, looks & ergonomics are OK, and I like being able to turn off the box, my TV, and my receiver just by pushing one power key. But for the Page +/-, would a Harmony remote be able to handle this since it's the same receiver as in the tutorial, just a different remote?

Well, there is a "Page" label printed on the remote just below the Ch+/- button, but it doesn't work as expected.

Right, the remote shown on the tutorial channel isn't the one I have. I also have the one with the big, round, goofy "FiOS TV" button. Any chance a Harmony remote would work?
