satellites can only put out so much power/data. so the hd signals need to be re encoded, and compressed to allow directv to put out all the channels they have. cut some quality to increase the quantity. HD lite man.

the view to the west is probably better clearance then the 101 is, hard to tell since i cant get ontop of the roof easily. i also called retension and had them put down to send the office manager, no rookie techs
