I got my HR20 yesterday and one thing I have noticed is the improved pricture quality over the HR10. I am using th same TV (Panasonic Plasma 42 in HDTV) and the same HDMI canle and HD is a little better but SD is much better.

I just got home from work and checked my H20 and I now have WRAL HD and WRAZ HD from D*.

Does anyone know why D* does not offer Neighboring Local channels for HD like they do for SD?

What I am trying to say is that if D* offered me Neighboring HD locals (CBS 2 and FOX 8) like they do for SD, then I would not need WRAL or WRAZ.

I just thought of something. I live in Chapel Hill zip code 27516 and for my SD locals, I get the Raleigh locals plus CBS 2 and FOX 8 from Greensboro. But for HD locals, I only get the raleigh locals minus WRAL and WRAZ. Does anyone know why D* does not have the neighboring locals for HD like...

Thanks for the info. You mention a pre amp or signal booster. My external antenna is a Winguard Squareshooter 2000 which came with a amp. Can I add another one in or replace the one that came with the square shooter. I'm not sure how this works.

I got my 6.3 upgrader in Chapel Hill, NC this morning. Seems faster and the folders are nice. Have not noticed anything else to this point.

At this time, the OTA tuner on the HR20 is disabled. It is my understanding that it will be enabled in the near future via software upgrade.

Well that's disappointing. I will miss that feature. Wonder if they will turn it on in the future?
