Problem is, my set, and all the other digital sets I know of have to convert the signal to analog for any scaling and to go from interlaced to progressive. This a/d and d/a double conversion defeats the purpose of using the DVI connection and taking advantage of an all digital signal path...

Thanks Cameron. I am sure it originally had a plaster wall there, but the previous owners had made lots of changes, including a few additions. So I am sure the plaster walls were taken down at some point and sheetrock was put up in its place. Too bad they also didn't re-do the framing on that...
