    HD Tivo 480P better than 1080I?

    I have just purchased an HR10-250 and am checking out the quality of the pic versus my current DSR6000 and the Sony Sat HD-300 I just sold. What I find interesting is 480P mode is much sharper than 1080I mode on my Hitachi x500. This don't make sense to me... A 1080I image (Discovery HD)...

    Do you think it is softer than the HD300? I just received my HD Tivo and sold my HD300 before I got a chance to test them side by side. It does appear softer just by going from memory, but that is a tough call. Eli
