    Install went well and all looks good so far. The Hopper seems easier to use and the remote is better. You don't hit record button when you try to go to the guide..That always got on my nerves with the Genie..I'll know more as time goes by....Thanks to all for the info..

    I made the jump to Directv today(install Thursday) and was just wanting some info on the Genie...Is it a reliable receiver?.I have the 722k from dish and I have not had any problems with it. What different functions does it have,if any,from the 722? Is it pretty easy to use? any info will help...

    I've got an appointment for dishnetwork to be hooked up in my home tomorrow. I'm getting a two room hookup (1 hd-1sd) dvr. I'm leaving directv to have this done...no problems with directv...I just want alittle more hd...Please tell me I didn't make a mistake??? what to expect??? is their service...
