I changed to HD+Platinum last month. I just checked my 8/13 bill and I still have the $3 credit. I also lost the HBO+HD bundle discount as I expected to.

I don't know about that. I use Dish Remote access, even though I am bundled. I don't have web access to my account though. Only through ATT and all they let me do is view my bill.

Lets hope so. Whats the point of closing the analog hole when they can't even stop Bluray DRM from being cracked. They would just be hurting all us honest consumers while the Pirates would continue doing what they do.

Try for a 722k. Aren't most 622's getting replaced with 722's or 722k's these days? I had my 722 replaced because of a hard drive failure and I got a 722k. I even got a free OTA module when I complained that I was loosing the OTA capability I was currently using on the 722.

It's a shame that Dish doesn't have a native passthrough mode. My Sony XBR has a bunch of adjustments to massage 480i SD video into something watchable, but my 722k will only let me set a fixed output resolution and my Sony's impressive SD video processing sits unused.
