This is too much fun! Motor is set up and working great! When I do a blind scan on a single (or multiple) sats, what does it mean during the scan when it says "FAIL" next to a transponder vs "OK" ?

There are a lot of conflicting statements around the web when it comes to setting up a motorized dish. Should you aim it to -no kidding- true south, or aim it to the closest satellite to true south for your location? For us here, it's the difference between 167 degrees for true south, vs 169...

Hey Iceberg, on the MicroHD, under switch settings, should I have 22K to on or off? I've been leaving it set to off, but then I wondered if, since I'm using a twin Universal LNBF, should it be set to on? Doesn't the LNBF do switching itself?

Well, I got this e-mail yesterday, so it looks like he's willing to make an exception. I think I will hook it up to the receiver with a short piece of coax today just to make sure, but 18v at 50' should still be 18v at 3 or 6 feet.....

Just heard back from HyperMegaSat, and as of right now, they're only willing (barely) to give me a refund in the form of in-store credit, minus return shipping and a 10% restocking fee (hopefully they don't plan on restocking this motor). I guess I should have read their pretty narrow...

Not at all! It was $19.xx ....close to $20. I guess it's a heavy motor, but so many companies (big and small) across the internet are offering such competitive shipping prices. It just seems abnormal now when you get zapped for $20.

Well, I ended up going with a DG380B from Sadoun. Shipping was pretty outrageous, but hopefully it gets here fast! Also hoping HyperMegaSat will be cool about taking back the SG2100, but haven't heard back from them yet this morning.
