Hello All, When I watch HD programs i.e. CSI or football games the back round music or crowd noise nearly drowns out the dialog. This problem occurs whether using surround sound or not. Any Suggestions? Thanks

I guess the guys at Dish got the message. I too was getting the runaround since Dec, two emails were never even responded to. Switch to Direct and then the phone calls came from Dish asking what they could do to keep me as a customer. I believe so many people switched that they realized...

Also switched after getting the same runaround. No regrets.

I find it amazing that a company would ship a product with known defects. How many of us would buy something from the local circuit city if the salesmen said "it only has about 10-20 problems". I had ordered a 811, after learning of all the issues I contacted their "Tech Support" at first...

Hello Guys, Have Dishnetwork now but am thinking of switching to Direct because of all the promblems with the 811 rec. Expecting to rec one in a day or two but am seriously thinking of sending it back. Any thoughts? Anyone have a 811 and not having problems?
