Yeah, I disappointly found that out looking at CBS's website. These broadcast companies need to fully convert to HDTV. Oh well, I guess if Auburn beats LSU in standard OTA it may soothe my HDTV woes.

I thought I seen a thread the other day where someone had figured out how to view his OTA HD through the 811 without the satellite feed hooked up. I may be overlooking the thread but can someone tell me how this works. Here is the deal. Hurricane Ivan has done something to my satellite...

I can tell you I had no where near 120 channels on my favorites list before the error message. Somewhere around 50 would be closer.

Last Saturday I thought that I would go through on my 811 and sort out may favorite channels making serveral Favorites list (one for me, one for ppv, one for music, etc.). But I discovered a problem. When I was on my second list checking the channels an error message came up and said "too many...

I've had my 811 for 2wks now, got 2.80 last week and this weekend I had my first episode of the satellite channels going blank but the info remaind. Had to reboot.

I don't know if there are any others out there but I have noticed better PQ on my SD channels since the upgrade. I use low end component inputs.

I've been leaving my receiver off everyday while at work and have been checking for the new update when I get home everyday. Still running 2.69 sw verison. Maybe it will come soon. But has anyone officially found out all of the "fixes" and "changes" that are included in the 2.80??

Just a thought but does anyone think that caller ID may hinder downloads?

Hopefully Scott will find out a few more details today of what issues the update covers (if there are any more).

Are you using one of your "favorites" guides? If so you may want to change your guide to "All Sub" or "All Channels". If this is the case you need to add this channel to your favorites list.

Is this the extent of it or are there additional modifications such as what Bobby has suggested?
