    I can't promise it is accurate, but someone posted screenshots of their Shazam music search matches for the songs in this Facebook Dish Scapes group thread. You can't listen to the music but you can see the names of the songs, artists, etc...

    We're not big fans of the music either. Having said that, we don't like scenes with "sudden" nature or other types of sounds. Often we like having the channel on just for ambience and sudden noises don't help with that. Either way, after watching for a while we usually turn the volume way...

    Houston is a mess: 11.4 (which carries CBS primary) has no listings (apparently the guide populates if you can receive 11.1) 20.1 shows the listings for 26.1 (Fox) 39.1 (WB) shows the listings for 2.1 (NBC)

    Dish Retention No Longer Offering A Discount

    I've been under the impression that they tell you the price is going way up to get you to call, agree to a small increase with another 2 year contract. Thats what I did a couple of months ago. But maybe that has changed.

    The no record/pause thing just seems unreasonable to me. Why should dish care whether I back up to see something better? It just frustrates me a bit and takes away some of the fun of watching it.

    Frankly, not having a guide for a channel takes you back to the old VHS days. You have to go online to find out what programs are on that you want to record, then you have to set up a manual timer to record them. The case might be made that it was easier to set up a timer on an old VHS box...
