I only have the VIP622 hooked up to the receiver.

There's not much more to tell, the VIP622 is connected to a Sony DA3-ES receiver via an optical cable.

In the last month or so I have been getting some audio popping on my VIP622. It will often send my receiver into overload. I am connected via optical. Usually changing channels will stop it. I didn't see it mentioned elsewhere so I am thinking it's just a problem with my DVR.

Ah I see that now. Still, it's funny that the automated help line just hangs up.

I got my card in the mail. The card # doesn't match the number for my 622. I called the 1-888-0230-7836 and followed the automated directions. It comes to a point where it asks if I have a message on my screen, if so press 1 else press 2. There's no message on my screen so I press 2. Option 2...

I have several programs set to record only new episodes. In the last week my 622 has started recording reruns and new episodes. This is happening across multiple channels. If I look at the infor for the show, it clearly shows the date of the episode as being old. One example is Cops tonight...

Yup. Noticed it here in RR too. BTW KRQE doesn't have 5.1 on their HD channel, suppose to have it next year.

UnivesalHD only shows programs produced by... Universal. Stargate is produced by MGM, so I doubt you will see them on UHD. Not sure who owns MGM.
