So for the record, all the dual tuners boxes that we have right now are dual HD *tuners*, there are not dual HD *output's* though. I know that is what you were asking, for dual HD output, but both tuners in all the dual HD boxes can record HD shows, it's just that HD will only output on TV1

I've considered that too. What I really like about the dish family package is that is blocks at a top level the adult programming from even showing up in the guide. It's not that it's locked out and you have enterprising kids who can try and get around it, it's simply not even there for them...

If the run is longer, you may need to put a signal amplifier in the middle too (close to the source where the signal is strongest). I have a 622 and a 722 and the runs from them to TV2 via coax are really long. Without signal amps in the middle (I just got the cheapest one at radio shack)...

If one is on the OTA tuner, you can watch that (or record that) and watch the other while she is still watching tv2. (there are actually three tuners in the dish DVR's)
