I have 3 friends that just went over to FIOS and they all said that without question FIOS is better on HD and dramatically better on the SD channels!

Hey, anyone know what ever happeded to the last May HD updates for Comcast of Union that never happeded?

Souds like a hybird, but looking a t the serial numbers and model number in the back should tell you. If you call them and give them a serial number of that box, it would be interesting to see what they say.

Does anyone know if this is South Jersey only or if this "Expanded HD Service" also applies to Comcast of Union?

I'm in Northern NJ and don't make me go there. We seem to have less than other regions and I live a 30 minutes away form their headquaters! We don't have HGTV, CNN, Food HD, History HD, FSN-South HD, USA HD, or SciFi HD

It may not be a signal issue. While it would be a benefit to run the new cable. Call comcast and tell them to send to your a signal. They will be able to let you know if they could see the box and send a signal authorizing those channels again. It worked for me.
