Move a dish about 15 feet...

It wasn't this brand from Amazon, but similar. The stuff he had was in a tube shape, almost like a tube of cut and bake cookie dough, about 2" diameter x 10" length. The installer that set the original pole 4 yrs ago used the same stuff. Also why he said that Dish require they dig down 3 ft...

Move a dish about 15 feet...

He showed up an hour ago, just done. We chatted most of the time while the expanding foam was setting the pole. As soon as he found the sweet spot and struck ground with his post hole digger (says Dish requires they go down 36"), I said, ""I'll be right back." I appeared a couple minutes later...

Move a dish about 15 feet...

Well, I lucked out. Dish is giving me a free 30 day Dish Protect pkg. This covers the $100 service call for the installer. There is a $50 relocation fee, which is billed to my account, which has a large credit balance, so, not gonna cost me a dime. Tech is coming by this morning. Have all...

Move a dish about 15 feet...

Any Dish installers or Dish customers please answer with your knowledge or experience... I've had my western arc dish with Hopper3 installed for about 5 years. Original installer put it in the middle of the yard, and I've had to be pretty careful when on the rider. I'd like to have it moved...

    Dish signal blocker?

Regarding the LOS for Dish, does anyone know if a flagpole (3" dia 1/4" thick-wall, oil drill pipe), placed within 20-25' of the dish would impact the signal reception? Thanks

    97W help...

Having a little trouble with 97W. We moved, and needed to relocate the dish. It is a 36" generic I have used for years. My wife uses it for all the Glorystar channels. The required transponder is 11842 for all her desired channels. But I am having some difficulty with locking in. I am...

    Hopper 3 and ViP622 HDD

Is it possible to remove the HDD from a 622, put in an enclosure, and then connect to a Hopper 3 via USB port, and use as an external HDD to access the recordings already on the drive? Anybody done this, or does it seem feasible / plausible?

How To Install a USALS Motor - Condensed Version

How effective is a 39" dish for connecting to a motor? I realize that bigger is better, but a 39" is about my limitations due to property setup / limitations.

    53.0W?

One more ? sir, since you are up and active on this fine Sunday morning...are there any other Nigerian channels (news or otherwise), that can be viewed here in our west hemi, that can be picked up FTA?, or is that NTA on 97.0 the only one? Thank you for your fine expertise.

    53.0W?

Is there a way to also check the status of NTA Int'l on 97.0W (TP 11989 V)? Lyngsat shows as of the other day, that it appears working, BUT, a couple people I know say that there is no reception from their STB, and they are receiving the colored bars on the screen (like a network station being...

    A dumb ?...

Okay, don't laugh... Is it at all possible for an FTA dish to lose it's reflective ability? I've got a generation one (10+ years) GeoSatPro OLD gray dish, that for some reason, I just can't get any signal on. Alternatively, I have a brand new GeoSatPro, just shipped, that I was able to lock...

Can FTA and OTA share coax?

Is this an instance where diplexers might be used? Can the diplexers be used between the multi-switch, receiving both the FTA signal, and OTA signal? The house would then need three sets of diplexers between the televisions and the multi-switch?, correct?
