C-band with hand crank actuator with saw marks to mark satellites. At my sisters house guessing around 1980 playing HBO back when it was in the clear.

Still got it here on a 1.2m and an 84e.

Call me stupid but I miss working in the hay fields with my dad. We did custom hay bailing and worked 12-14 hours a day 7 days a week unless it was raining. Mom would bring lunch and we would lay under a shade tree and eat.

Picked this 10 footer up today, came with DSR922 with good ID. Anybody know what it is and have one like it. The guy had taken some parts from the lower side of the mount. Would like to have a picture of the mount to see what is missing. Thanks hilsat

This is the dish I was telling you about yesterday. Its not a 12' dish like he thought but I will keep my eyes out for one. Yes it is a Saginaw actuator.

Here are some dishes I found today. All came from the same person, his grandson got them from one of the local schools. The 2.8m dish got bent around the edge as you can see in the pic but it did have a chaparrel C/KU feed on it and a monster actuator. Not sure what the other two dishes are but...

I was thinking the same thing. Why not fix them. It used to be common for the reed switch to go bad in these actuators. Dont know how much they are now but they used to be about $3.

I am useing a Coolsat 4000 pro. It has me baffled. It has to be either the receiver or the motor. I will see if I can borrow another receiver and try it. Thanks for all the help.

I get both 123 and 129 with quality in the 92... 94 11720 on 123 is around 70 range 11800 94. The farthest east I have went is 72 also in the 90's

I did start over and according to the motor scale it was at zero. What has me is that I can get great signal by switching to 1.2 and bumping toward south about 2 degrees on any sat other than directly south which require no movement from USALS setting. My Q is in the 90's on almost all sats. But...
