    1H/2J + 322, can it be done?

I have HDMI run through-wall to one of the TV's, the other HDTV will be supported by a Joey over RG6, but I also have CAT6 to all locations and a GB Ethernet switch.

    1H/2J + 322, can it be done?

Thanks to all for the feedback and answers. Ended up going with a 2H/3J system, which is to be installed tomorrow by our local Dish franchisee. In talking with them, they already are going to love the install. Already have a "TurboHD" Dish installed with 3 RG6 run to a central wiring...

    1H/2J + 322, can it be done?

Correct, (2) 322 is $14/mo. I would consider the 211 w/DVR upgrade, but the Wife has been seeing the whole house DVR commercials and wants that functionality, just not to pay for it. The rep said once I sign up, there will be a free HD for life offer in mydish that I can sign up for to remove...

    1H/2J + 322, can it be done?

Thanks for the quick replies. So a possibility would be going with w 1H/3J + 211, provided I purchase the 211? I do have an old 1 tuner receiver that the previous owner of my home left behind, but I am 99% sure it is not a 211.

    1H/2J + 322, can it be done?

Finally, after 3 years of working on a major renovation of our house, we are finishing off the final project, the Man Cave! In doing so, we are adding a 5th TV to our current 2 322 setup, looking to add HD/DVR via a 1HwS/2J system, replacing one of the 322s. The CSR I chatted with yesterday...

I know. I was thinking the same, which is why I wanted to verify.

    Thinking of upgrading to Hopper

Glad I checked up on the Dish Rep I was chatting with this morning. She quoted me 1 H + 4 J's, looks as if I really need 2 H's + 3 J's to handle my 5 TV set-up.

Moving my Dish 500, coax questions

That is what I planned, 2 lines to each room. All RG6 is not rated to 3Ghz I take it? Already in the plans, though I planned on cat6. The price difference is not all that much and I would rather do it right now and have it more "future-proofed".

Moving my Dish 500, coax questions

I am going to borrow my neighbor's tractor mounted post hole digger, 8" x 4', I assume that will work. And yes, you must be familiar with the winds here. We are in a bit of a valley and surrounded by trees on 3 sides so that helps a lot, but I know what the wind will do here and now is not...

Moving my Dish 500, coax questions

Duh, never thought about the ground block. The current installation does not have one. That will actually cut down on the amount of DB RG6 I would need by half. My OTA comes from my antenna tower which is located away from from the new SuperDish location. Ideally I'd love to just mount the...

Moving my Dish 500, coax questions

First, SatelliteGuys rocks! I am a new member here, but have perused the forums before and found lots of good info. I have searched around a bit and am pretty sure I have the answers to my questions, but would like some confirmation as some of the threads are either old or went very off-topic...
