Hopper 3 Home Media DLNA Server?

Using Mezzmo, I am able to play avi, mkv, mp4, mt2s, etc. It automatically transcodes what isn't native. I also have Emby, but have been unable to get most of my library to play yet.

New Features in the latest Hopper release(S515)!

So I tried scheduling a show tonight and it said creating this timer would create a conflict. Do you want to create the timer on your other hopper? I said WHAT? YES!!! Sweet. I then went to Timers, and could change to see my other Hopper. Couldn't change any, but still helpful.

So, am I just imagining it, or is my guide now staying on my custom list after the nightly update?

    DLNA Video format

I've found mp4 to be the best streaming format on the hopper as far as not needing to transcode.

What DLAN server are you using with the Hopper?

Mezzmo.Awesome. I have tweaked a profile so it plays x264 without transcoding video, while changing dts to ac3. Transcoding avi on-the-fly to mpeg2. Plays mp3 and jpeg slideshows as well.

My quest to get DLNA working on the Hopper...

I haven't had Fast Forward / Rewind on any if the servers I have tried with the Hopper. I haven't tried pre-transcoding though. Most of my stuff is x264 with dts.

    DLNA

I have Mezzmo playing mkv h264 dts, avi with mp3 & ac3, and jpg photos. The videos are transcoding on the fly to mpeg2 (I think) and ac3 MULTI-CHANNEL. Multi-Channel was a must for me. I haven't been able to get any of the other mentioned dlna servers to give me multi-channel.

My quest to get DLNA working on the Hopper...

I got tversity working but it only does 2-channel audio. My favorite so far that has done and played everything (including ac3 5.1) is Mezzmo. I like the look of Plex, but I just couldn't get it configured to my liking yet.
