Anyone using the Orthomode Feedhorn from TEK2000/Aliexpress ?

I been using aliexpress ortho with my 5150's.I purchased for $15 2yrs ago edit almost 3 now. it has been fine. I also have 2 chapparal 1329 and a couple bullseyes but have not had time to do any comparison yet. Used the chap scaler was on my dish. Was leary because price too good to be true but...

    Electrical wiring for dish

Are you going to use servo or not? There are likely 4 terminals on you actuator and 4 on the vbox so you need 4 conductors. you can do it anyway you want but as suggested 14awg will be fine for actuator motor and even smaller is fine for sensor, some suggest shielded twisted pair. But I have...

Ku band LNBF Mounting Ideas Needed

Or bin your lnbf plan and use proper bullseye or dp4 or other dual ortho. Because ku band lnbf are made for offset not prime focus and fd ratio. internal scaler incorrect for application. if must sidecar use flanged and ku prime focus flat feed horn

That lnb is a xku triple extended. Uses 2nd lo on 107w. F1r lo is 10073. G1 also on 107w and f2 at 111w are standard 10750 lo. If i remember correctly, haven't played with DCII fp/zk on ku side lately.

    Norsat 5150 vs 3120

1 last comment in regard to op. I saw no gain improvement with 5150f over dro only more stability enabled lock on 16apsk feeds with not alot of error correction that I was not able to reliably lock prior. Many claim stronger signal but I didn't see it in back to back db comparison. Only larger...

    Norsat 5150 vs 3120

Your choice of feed is very nice and infinitely adjustable with asc1. But if purchase is not made yet put some consideration into orthomode as I hear Alberta is very cold and polarizer for polarity and skew commonly fail, perhaps not the case with lower humidity in west. But here I don't think...

    Norsat 5150 vs 3120

Both lnb in op are pll. I have pair of 5150f on a ortho feed they have performed ok. Choice was made because of cost, needed a pair for the ortho but if i was purchasing a single for a feed with skew probably would have choose 3120. I could not go with feed like that have too many tuners and...

Government of Canada C Band Survey

I filled it out. Doubt they going to show up at your location.Probably just a dot on a map that may prevent possible interference from 5g tower or might get you free filter if 1 goes up. I think in US cband alliance was refunding for registration and any filter required for registered earth...
