I've had no issues tonight with CI.

I get Extra Innings and Center Ice. It's odd that Jays feeds on TSN in HD are shown in HD, but -- as has been pointed out on this thread -- the Canadian feeds in HD aren't shown in HD on CI. The only Canadian feeds we see in HD come on HNIC on NHL Network on Saturday nights. A new beef this...

I tried it and didn't get free Center Ice (probably because it already had automatically benn renewed), got free HD service for 12 months and a $100 credit.

If you advance until Monday in the guide, the strike-zone channel goes away.

It was weird last night. The Flyers game wasn't available in HD on Center Ice. But it WAS available in HD on my local RSN -- CSN Mid-Atlantic -- which usually only shows Caps games.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I like Costas. And at least he doesn't yell like so many other announcers.

When I was a Dish Network subscriber, I got $5 off per month for doing this. DirecTV doesn't give me any discount for that, does it? If I never use PPV, is there any advantage to having a phone-line connection other than getting the caller ID to show up on the screen? DirecTV doesn't require...

I agree. It's terrible. And usually the BTN has pretty crisp HD pictures.

Stupid question: What does it do to your picture if "native" is on and what does it do to it if "native" is off.

Hopefully if we get it, they'll actually show a lot of HD. CNN seems to only show HD programs at night.
