I was thinking just the opposite. This morning my daughter wanted to watch Tigger & Poo (yeah, riveting TV). It was in STUNNING...I mean STUNNING HD. I was really blown away. I have also noticed a few other channels looking better than normal. Maybe my eyes are getting worse??

Why stop at stealing equipment? Why not get some hacked cards and steal the service too? Lying and scamming to save a few bucks on TV seems...well...really pitiful.

Yes. The splitter doesn't know it is running the wrong way. Works fine and is very cheap.

We have this identical setup as the OP. I have a $4 splitter combining the UHF from the OTA and the other side is the coax coming out of our 622...works perfectly. I don't recall our channel, but I think we are on 71 or something like that.

What is the "watch per gig" ate? IE, how much time do you gain in HD recording ont he 622 on say a 500 GB external? The problem with switching to the all HD pack is now all the kids' Hannah Montana, Cat Dog etc is taking up ALLOT of space!
