FWIW-I've had my 612 since 2/9-no problems at all,works fine.

I currently have one 301 and one 612[recently upgraded] both hooked up to phone lines. My new bill shows an additional receiver fee of $5. I own the 301. I realize it' only $5 but isn't it waived when connected to a phone line? TIA Jack[NW 'Burbs of Chicago]

I also upgraded on 2/9. Went from a 301 to a 612 and DISH 1000.Everything went great. Guess I was lucky too!

FWIW-I just upgraded to HD yesterday and the installer put a sticker with his company's name and phone # on the DVR.He also showed in the scheduled window.1 and 1/4 hours later HD was up and running. Guess I was lucky:confused:

Upgraded one of my 301's to a 612[for a Bravia 50"] .Installer showed up in the allotted "window". Put up a DISH 1000 hooked up the 612 and about a total of 1 1/1/4 hours after he arrived everything was working. Also downgraded to AT100 Plus with locals[Chicago] and HD Essential pack. Very good...

I'm upgrading from a 301 to a 612 on 2/9. Costing me $100. Is that cost because I'm upgrading to HD?

I currently have two 301's. One with a Series 2 TIVO and HD set,the other with an older tv,no DVR. Should I jump on the 622 bandwagon or just wait a few months and see what develops? I'd like HD but not by spending a lot of $. Any rebates for 301 users upgrading? TIA JS
