My wife who's watched General Hospital since she was a kid got a kick out of watching General Hospital from 2016 (again). So I guess it wasn't a bad thing.

I noticed the oddest thing on my DVR this morning. Some random DVR recordings came back from May 2016. They are marked as new but the progress bar shows them as watched and yes we definitely watched them at the time. They have long since been deleted 8 years ago but here they are out of nowhere...

FYI: Dish now has a payment portal. Just go to mydish.com and click "make a payment".

Were you able to just have them process your payment from the card on file or did you have to provide them with card info? Thanks!

USPS.com is up for me but that ALWAYS happens with USPS.com, nothing new there. On another note, still the Dish website shows only the down message, the app gives a website error but On Demand seems to be working.

That makes no sense though. a) How can they get into a chat when their system and internet is down, and b) why would they no inform customers prior of an update being done and/or at least post something on social media sites? Someone in charge should be able to do that via their home internet...

Yep and I still cannot figure out why Dish debited me for payment when I never made a payment and don't have autopay set up then reversed it today. Something doesn't smell right at all.

I never noticed any really fast speeds streaming with the hopper, most I would get wireless would be Mbps in the 80's. That is very slow for a gig connection which normally does wireless between 500/600 Mbps with just about everything else close to the router.

No it is using wireless.

I triend it again just now and it seems to be working but it does still show very slow downloading. The movie stream download is around 45mbps to 65.
