I have been with Dish for over 10 years. Called at the start of football season and got multi-sport pack for $5.50 for 6 months.

Did the tech check the voltage? It's possible that the outlet the Hopper is plugged into is wired wrong. If your constantly going through receivers, that's what I would check. Just my thought.

Seeing you have international programming, that would likely come off the 118 satellite off of the "Plus" dish. The 1000 dish and "wing" dish are most likely not being utilized.

Most techs should be able to use existing cable except for the line with the barrel, if its to a Joey, then it's fine, but if its to a hopper it should be changed. Dish requires techs to only use dish approved 3ghz line, so depending on the tech, he may want to run new line to the hoppers, joeys...

I get the same HD locals. You would be converted to an eastern arc set up getting 61.5 and 72.7 sats. Those would get you all your programming. How high is the peak of your roof, techs carry 28 foot ladders and have access to 40 foot ladders if needed. Sent from my iPhone 4S using SatelliteGuys
